Hanging out with the Flying Chalupa

One of my all-time favorite bloggers is Tarja over at The Flying Chalupa. I can’t even remember how I found her, but she has the best sense of humor, wit, and sarcasm (my favorite things!) and just seems to see the world through a more interesting viewpoint than many of us.

When she first asked me to do a guest post, I thought she said make toast, and since people always expect me to make them food around here I quickly obliged.

But you can imagine my excitement when she clarified that, while the toast was crispy with just the right amount of butter, she had really said Guest Post.

I tried to think about the things we have in common. We both love In-N-Out Burger and view grocery shopping and errands as a competitive sport. She has the most wonderful pair of Uggs that I now secretly covet (and may have to ask Santa for). But the best thing we have in common?

The love of a little boy.

So hop on over here today and read all about little boys and the language they speak.

And if you’ve never visited Tarja before, you have to read The Blorax, American Gladiator: Millionaire Dance Edition, or The Narrators’ Tea Party. You’ll be glad you stopped by.

Oh, and the best thing? I actually, just yesterday, met Tarja in real life. And she is just as wonderful as I thought she would be.
