Sluiter Nation Recruit!

My friend Katie, who blogs over at Sluiter Nation, is just about the cutest person I’ve met in the blogosphere.

Seriously cute.

She and I are living portions of the same life at different times, which hurts my head if I think about it too much.

She has an adorable little boy; my own adorable little boy just graduated from high school.

So when she blogs about Eddie, it takes me back to the toddler days. And when I blog about my son, it gives her a glimpse into her future. It’s pretty cool.

She teaches high school students; I have one at home.

We both work in education, and let out the same “whoop!” when school let out last week.

So when Katie asked me to be one of her Sluiter Nation Recruits?

I was all kinds of excited.

I would love for you to visit me over there today and read my post about little boys, something that Katie and I definitely have in common.

And if you’re feeling especially generous, I have a post up for consideration for “Voices of the Year” at BlogHer. Exit Interview was one of my favorite posts, and I would love the chance to read it as a Community Keynote Speaker at BlogHer11 in San Diego. If you like it, I’d love a vote over there.
